I ordered from Shop@Home (not mobile) today and then called Customer Service US. The rep checked my order and said the minifigure would be included. He said that all online orders were getting the minifigure added to their box and there was no minimum purchase required. It is intended to advertise their new mobile Shop@Home access. My order was just over the free shipping level and I have a VIP account. YMMV - good luck.
I called Lego service and talked to a rep the answer for this figure is that you need to order a item that would ship in a box ( a item that would be packed in a box not a envelope ) don't have to have a big order .
Just placed an order for both new Minecraft sets and the discounted Halloween Accessory Set. I'll update here if I receive the free minifig. The Halloween set will be used to add to my dining room table center piece during October. It's the Haunted House, MOC graveyard, gallows pole, rickety covered bridge, and lots of spooky details. My family loves Halloween. :)

^^ only in America? Quelle suprise! I think LEGO have managed to secure a majority market share of the US toy industry... It's time they made some effort to recognise the fans around the rest of the world.
Had 3 boxes arrive today, 1 ordered via mobile site, 1 ordered via ipad and 1 ordered normally through laptop, all had the mini camper van but not one had extra minifig - guess is that this is not uk
I ordered the Delorean the other day. Hopefully grove city outlet arriving grove city outlet soon. Hopefully including this figure. I am in the US, so it sounds like I should grove city outlet be getting it, my only worry is that I ordered it at my Lego store so that it + what I was buying in-store would snag me a Camper. The only difference I know of with ordering it in-store is free shipping, hopefully I still get a figure.
Just an FYI, i ordered 2 sets, totalling enough for free shipping and the mini camper van, but subsequent emails about my order do not list the camper van being included in my box contents... Hopefully it's in the box, as i would love to have a mini version of the camper van to go along with my big one. As for the LEGO store minifig, i'm in the US and a VIP member, so hope i get that too. Don't think i'll be removing that one from the package for a while...

Yup, US only. Spoke to a lovely lady in customer service who explained that different regions have different offers. She also said she'd love to send me the minifig if she could get them, but they don't appear to even have stock of them in the Europe. hi all! first time user. so um I simply ordered the lego calender for 14.99 and it came with the order. i'm from the us if theat helps anyone out. I placed order on monday. the calender I ordered came in a small box.
I placed my order on October 1st from my phone. Got the order the other day in three boxes and all of them had the minifig. The order was over $700. I don't know about anyone else but the last two times I ordered there was extra lego sets in the box. I live in the USA.
