Between 13 and 16 December, I had a vacation bx exchange from my vacation here in Genoa. I had a fantastic weekend in this wonderful city. Pulled on a cold tion over the weekend that has begun to take on me now, which sucks but but.
Lucia morning I got up 6:45 and took the train from the station around half past eight times. The trip went smoothly, bx exchange had to change trains in Genoa and then in Pisa to get to Florence center. It also went really fast, because I slept the whole way. Tried as usual read in my book but ends with me falling asleep for a chapter. I arrived around two times, did not bother bx exchange to buy a map and instead tried to remember where and how the streets were in town. It went pretty fairly, remembered more than I ever could have imagined, but also had some help from the crowd that moved to the center direction ;) I can seriously see myself living and working in Florence, the city is the perfect size so you can go everywhere on reativt cards Time, like Gothenburg. During my first day where I wandered alone around and felt the pulse of the city, enjoyed what I saw and even ate good food at a small café just next to the Ponte Vecchio bridge. At six o'clock I met eventually Arianna, my wonderful friend and she was just as amazing as I remember her. When we met we hugged each other a long time and just laughed with happiness. She took me to a café where we could update us on each other a little. The plan was then to go home to her friends where six other girls were waiting for us, Arianna would practice with his little assambel for a concert that would be in a church outside the city on Saturday night. God, how good they were, and god what I was missing my run when I sat there and listened to them on the couch in the living room of Francesca. bx exchange All had brought something edible to bid on as there was a buffet of all kinds of Italian food, awful good, I promise. For dessert had a girl baked a kind of sponge cake with pistachio, it I'll probably bid on the home sometime! After dinner it was time for the clothing bx exchange market, what is this, I wondered haha. Well it was for like, every year leaving all the girls off those clothes and stuff they no longer use to second hand shops, but before they do that, they have a small clothing market together one evening in December where they show what they have for things and then see if any of the other girls are interested in it. Is not it clever? So first they change some stuff, have late a fashion show kind of, and the things that are left over, they leave then emit :) I will try to do something similar at home, that's how cozy and fun whatsoever to do with their friends!
Thursday night I slept over at Arianna and her mom, it was really nice and they were fine with me. It felt like I was one of the family. We ate a go Italian breakfast with Italian good coffee, cakes and biscuits with marmalade. bx exchange Arianna knew that Swedes eat breakfast and not just a little coffee as they do, so she was laying out almost everything she had in the fridge, bx exchange it felt like ;) I said of course she int needed to do it, but she insisted that I would get a great breakfast :) Thursday, bx exchange lucia day, along with Arianna and her friends, and even the concert two days later on Saturday night (with free dinner afterwards with both choirs) was easily the best dagarn I had in Italy so far!
Okay I'll try to sum up Friday-Sunday a little short now, it was Thursday and Saturday night as va the best so why I wrote in some detail bx exchange ;) On Friday bx exchange came Kaylee after a few hours of delays due to snow in Genoa. We checked in, met two roommates we did not know, two girls from usa who studied German in Vienna. Crystal va from Nebraska and Loren were from Texas, we got to know them during the evening when we went out together. After dinner we ended up at a Kareoke Club with all sorts of people, a great bunch of Australians who were comfortable sometimes there! bx exchange We danced to old classics as people sang and had a lot of fun. During förmiddagrna and afternoons Fri-Sun, we went to all the museums we found almost. The most famous first course's
