Macedonia's membership in NATO and EU's priority and sorabotkataka in the defense sector of Macedonia and the United States is satisfactory. This is the conclusion of the meetings as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Evelyn N.. Farkas had today in Skopje with Macedonian President George Ivanov and Defence Minister Talat Xhaferi.
Ivanov welcomed cooperation in defense between the two countries and expressed satisfaction with the overall support that the Macedonian Army receives from the United States, the office of President.
The meeting had been exchanged on opportunities for further deepening cooperation in defense and applauded the initiative of trilateral partnership between the armies of Macedonia, Vermont and Senegal.
"Macedonia is grateful for the friendship, help and support he received from the U.S. since the early days of independence to date, especially for the efforts and support in the implementation of our strategic goals," Ivanov pointed and assuring the Farkas that Macedonia can always gledast as a sincere friend and partner.
Xhaferi again informed about future plans and priorities, as well as engagements, but also announced that Macedonia will remain part of the ISAF mission in Afghanistan until its completion in 2014, as well as post the ISAF mission.
